Our story
ABOUT US
Where it all started
Eighty Ate has a long standing reputation as being the pioneer of cafes on West Street. Eighty Ate started as a family-owned grocery store, run by the Tselis family in 1975. As times changed, the grocery store evolved into the cafe that we see today.
To this day, Eighty Ate has been trading with great success and prides itself on great food and friendly service. As a family-based business, we strive to provide the freshest and tastiest experience with the least amount of fuss. True to our family tradition, we prepare everything in-house, from scratch.
The difference
- All our produce is hand-picked from local growers and wholesalers by Jim (Cafe Eighty Ate owner and manager).
